It means that there are periods of the year where a lot of people, visitors, generate high hotel occupancy, and less people that imply low hotel occupancy.
On high season you’ll find a lot of activity all around the port; there are events, activities, festivals, performances and much more! So, your visit to Puerto Vallarta can be unforgettable; the people in charge about this activity are the municipal government, restaurants, hotels, schools, non-profit organizations or even volunteers. There is a lot of people to have a good time with.But remember: the more people is, the more high demand you’ll experience.
It is a little more difficult to have a reservation in a hotel, and usually wherever you go, you’ll have to wait for a place; like a place in a restaurant. So, we recommend booking with anticipation.

On low season, you can visit more relaxed Puerto Vallarta. There are many places that have special offers; like in our hotel, where you can have a lower rate in comparison to high season. Also, you can enjoy calm beaches, and activities and events in the port.

Puerto Vallarta is a tropical and humid city that, no matter the time of the year, covers us with all its warmness; so that, when you’re about to decide the best dates to visit Puerto Vallarta you should consider the temperature of the year. If you come from a cold or rainy city we recommend visit Vallarta on April or May. Otherwise, you can enjoy a cooler temperature in December, January or even February.
Rainy season in Puerto Vallarta: from june to september (summer); although, the last 3 years we have had occasional rain in November and December.
