Marina Vallarta is located on the boulevard Francisco Medina Ascencio, about 5 minutes from the International Airport of Puerto Vallarta. When you reach the main entrance you will find the icon of Marina Vallarta: an spectacular bronze sculpture of a humpback whale and its baby. Here begins the avenue called Paseo de la Marina.
When continuing on the left, on Popa Street, you will find an explosion of flavors with different ice cream parlors, cafes and restaurants; from typical dishes of the region to gourmet cuisine.
At the end of Popa Street you can see the hotels and boats that distinguish Marina Vallarta from other areas; this street is at the same time the start of the Marina Vallarta malecon, where you can spend a pleasant time appreciating the view, eating in a restaurant or taking pictures. On the malecon you will also find the very popular lightohuse, whose top is a small restaurant where you can appreciate the sunset, unique in our destination of Puerto Vallarta.
The Marina Vallarta malecon comes alive with the artisan market (Thursday of each week starting at 6 pm); you can find all kinds of handmade products created by local people and tourists; from food, drinks, clothing to jewelry.
Back on the avenue Paseo de la Marina you can find the majestic and modern golf course where iguanas and crocodiles live freely. We recommend taking precautions.
We recommend you visit Plaza Marina, a shopping center located on the same avenue, between Marina Vallarta and the airport, where there is a business, a supermarket and other places of interest.
